Hi, just sent a request for access to the customer board so I can read up on some things.

(My question is around limiting a single category to intro text only, and a second selected category to full text based on category where 2 categories are selected and ordered by date -- eg. "Long Articles" intro text only with read more, "Short Articles" with full text, no read more)

This is not so, you did not buy the module itself, only an additional product to it.
The module layout cannot work separately without the module.
