We are excited to announce a big update to the RAXO Grid layout. This layout essentially combines two layouts into one, allowing website users to switch between two views: Grid and List. This gives users the option of viewing your content in a compact or expanded form.

In RAXO Grid v2.1, we have introduced a significant number of changes rooted in fresh, modern approaches to layout design. We’ve worked hard to bring these new concepts to life, and we invite you to take a closer look at the full list of updates.

New features:

• New layout installer script file:
  automatic lagacy layout detection, update and cleanup.
• Compatibility with Joomla 6 and Joomla 5 modules.
• Complete refactoring and transition to modern Nested CSS.
• Use the new RAXO debug logger for installation process.

Improvements:

• Removed jQuery dependency from view switching function;
• Switch to using modern CSS grid techniques;
• Container queries instead media queries for more responsivnes control;
• Universal color schemes based on consistent OKLCH color palettes;
• Updated js-cookie v3.0.5 a lightweight JavaScript API for handling cookies;
